One of the documents that must be submitted for the issuance of a short-term visa for foreign citizens is a notarized invitation of a natural person - a citizen of Ukraine, a foreigner or a stateless person who legally resides temporarily or permanently on the territory of Ukraine.
A short-term visa is issued to foreigners and stateless persons to enter the territory of Ukraine, if their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days within 180 days.

In accordance with subparagraph 2 of paragraph 7 of the Rules, such an invitation must contain:
1. information about the person who invites:
1.1 surname, first name, patronymic;
1.2 details of a passport or a certificate of permanent or temporary residence (for foreigners and stateless persons);
1.3 residential address.
2. information about the invited person:
2.1 surname, first name, patronymic;
2.2 date and place of birth;
2.3 passport document details;
2.4 place of residence.
3. information about the trip:
3.1 the purpose of the trip;
3.2 the period of the planned visa to Ukraine;
3.3 number of entries;
3.4 place of residence in Ukraine;
3.5 the obligation of an individual to pay the expenses of the invited person's stay and departure from the territory of Ukraine.
Thus, the document on the invitation of a foreigner or a stateless person can be drawn up in the form of an application, drawn up according to general rules and presented on a special form for notarial documents, with a notarized signature of the applicant (hosting party).
